Hello and thank you for considering Urbane Weddings and Events as your all-inclusive wedding planning service. My name is Heather, and I am the owner and primary licensed wedding and event planner.
My love for weddings began when I was a flower girl for the first time. Something captivated me about the beauty and elegance of a wedding ceremony and reception. Years later, my interest in weddings compelled me to model bridal gowns for the Portland Bridal Show. I did this for three years and during that time I became very knowledgeable of the local wedding industry.
As my fondness for weddings grew, I began to gain event planning experience. I started planning events back in high school and continued throughout college as I planned philanthropic and social events. More recently, I successfully planned a class reunion and several weddings.
As I considered my knowledge of the wedding industry paired with my experience in wedding and event planning, I decided that designing weddings is something I would love to do every day. Thus, Urbane Weddings and Events was established.
In order to best serve engaged couples here in Clark County and the Portland Metropolitan area, Urbane Weddings and Events is committed to keeping prices affordable while maintaining the highest level of service standards. We will only book vendors whose work has proven to be of exceptional quality. We understand that some couples are on a limited budget and therefore we are committed to providing the best value for every dollar spent. Though we maintain a list of preferred vendors, we will work with each couple individually to find their best fit, even if it means we must search outside of our established network.
