Why a Wedding Planner?
Here are some frequently asked questions about wedding planners and why engaged couples hire us.

A: Wedding planners take on the wedding planning process for you and work out all details from beginning to end. Depending on your needs, they will be as involved or uninvolved as you desire. First, a wedding planner will establish which aspects of your wedding they will be planning and which ones you would like to do yourself (if any). Then, they will set a price according to the amount of work that will be required. Wedding planners are flexible and will work with you closely to make sure your wedding is exactly as you imagine. They also save you stress and time by doing the work for you. Typically, the cost of a wedding planner will be absorbed by the amount of money they can save you through their network of venues and vendors.

Bridal Consultants are your best source of advice for the "do-it-yourself" couples. They have a wealth of knowledge of the wedding industry in your area. They will save you time by only sending you to vendors and venues that meet your needs and that are within your budget.

Wedding coordinators are also for the "do-it-yourself" couples. The difference is that they don't do anything until three weeks before your wedding. Once your wedding plans are in place, you will meet with the wedding coordinator and give her your vendor contact information, the day-of-wedding schedule, decorating instructions and any other special requests that you would like to be completed. Wedding coordinators eliminate the need for you to assign friends and family to perform "jobs" on your wedding day. This allows everyone to be stress-free and to enjoy your special day.

A: There are many reasons. Here are a few:
~You are busy and don't have enough time to plan a wedding.
~You are not an expert at this, and you only have one try to make your day memorable.
~You are on a budget and would like to stay within that budget.
~You want the most quality venue and vendors for your money.
~You don't have the resources or networks that a wedding planner does.
~Most of the vendors and venues that heavily advertise can do so because they over-charge.

A: Take advantage of the bridal consultant option. Not only is this very affordable, but you will probably cancel out the cost of a consultant with all of the budgeting advice she has to offer. For best results, this option can be used with the wedding coordinator option.

A: Probably not. As mentioned above, wedding planners and consultants will guide you to the vendors and venue that will give you the most for your money. They will also keep you on track with your budget. They will utilize their resources and networks to find discounts that will potentially save you thousands of dollars.

A: Our answer is that you can't afford not to! Weddings can get very expensive, and couples with budgets below $10,000 will need all the help they can to find discounts, to adhere to their budget, and to make every dollar count. Even if you have a budget of $5,000, a wedding planner can help you put together a beautiful and memorable wedding and reception.
